Today I reached a very important milestone in taking KL public transit. My comfort level with my surroundings is so high that I put my earbuds in. Stalley’s verse in “Address” (Curren$y ft. Stalley) is wonderful background music to watch the early morning KL commuters and scenery through the bus and train windows. I watch other people stare at me and smile to myself.
At work, I got feedback on my first SRI rating. I made a decent amount of mistakes, but they are all easy to fix. I think that once I revise this one, the subsequent ratings will be noticeably easier.
During a mental break, I looked at OWW’s website. I discovered that the staff here is very impressive. It is humbling to work with and learn from such accomplished young people. The other arm of the company, the Academy of Responsible Management is also pretty fascinating. Their certificate trainings in Corporate Social Responsibility range from 15-week courses to 1-day seminars. I am interested in both sides of the Academy—teaching and learning. I am required to attend one of their 3-day trainings next week, so I’ll learn more soon.
